Search For Your Program -
Much of the time the first item of business when submitting
to a site is to check and see if it's already listed there.
With Shareware Tracker this is a simple matter of clicking
a button, which is visible on both the Project/Site
Submission and Submission Browser toolbars and menus.
If you click on the button from the Project/Site Submission
window, a new Submission Browser will be opened, which will
automatically perform the search and show you the results,
for example, like this search on Blue Chillies.

Mark Software as
Listed - If your listing is found, you would then follow
the link to its own page, if any, and then record the details
of the listing by selecting "Site/Mark As/Listed"
from the browser menu, or clicking the corresponding toolbar
button. The most oft-used menu items also have keyboard shortcuts
if you prefer to use them. The "Confirm Listing Details"
dialog appears, as in the following screenshot. Some sites
don't give each listing their own page, and you have to perform
a search to view your listing. This dialog will either record
the URL of your listing (the current web address of the browser),
or if you check "Must search to view listing" it
will know to do an automatic search each time in the future
you would like to view your listing. Either way, viewing your
listing is a one-click process. There are a number of other
data items you can record about your listing, such as the
version and date listed, and number of downloads recorded,
if available. This dialog is designed to save you time and
will make assumptions about these data which are correct much
of the time, which means you often don't have to manually
fill them in.

Submission Browser
- Let's take a look now at what we can do with the Submission
Browser. The following two screenshots show the browsers Site
and Tools menus, respectively.
